hola from spain!

ok, im actually already back in paris. after bretagne, france, we flew back to paris and stayed a night before heading to spain. we took a flight from paris to madrid and had to wait 7 hours in madrid for a flight down to granada. the nice thing about long layovers in a city with good infrastructure is that you can head downtown. we landed in madrid in the morning, took the train about 30 minutes downtown, had lunch and saw some sights, and headed back to catch the flight to granada. we paid a bit more to fly to granada's airport, but that put us about 20 minutes from the city center. we stayed in an AirBnB right in plaza nueva, one of the central plazas in the city. the view was great, and we were right in the heart of the restaurant/bar/shopping area. keep in mind that any food in these pictures was considered a "tapa," which means it was free with our drink.
