a view from the top...

so getting used to living in a tiny apartment is tough. there are three things about my apartment in paris that make it easier. first, the bedroom and bathroom are lofted because the apartment is on the top floor with super high ceilings. so, the small apartment actually becomes a split level with floors leading to the upstairs. next, the apartment is in the heart of paris. there are 20 neighborhoods that make up central paris, and this apartment is in number 4. the town hall of the whole city is on the corner of the street. finally, and most importantly, this view. from left to right: the church of st gervais, the dome of the pantheon, notre dame, the top of hotel de ville, the top of the georges pompidou museum, and way in the distance the domes of sacre coeur.
